Hey there,

I’m Matt, a freelance illustrator based in Paddington, London.
I studied at Falmouth University, graduating with a First Class Honours classification from the BA Illustration course.

My early passion for drawing developed through depicting the heroes of my favourite TV shows; I often contemplated how these characters came to be, and whether it could be something I could potentially pursue as a career.

My process begins at the developmental stage of idea generation and sketching. From here, I refine ideas and work up to a rough sketch of the final art without colour. At the final rendering stage I produce the full colour illustration.
